at last we've got to the end of wednesday and i look forward to a day off. think i'll be off for a massage in the morning and then possibly out for a jaunt on the bike in the afternoon if its not raining.

bit of a quiet day, in fact no customers all day until the evening when we thankfully got enough to break through our daily minimum target.

must remember to wear my helmet tomorrow , got stopped this morning and now have a 200 baht fine to pay:( .

well its been a while since i wrote, mainly because we've been quite busy and when it is quiet i'm taking the opportunities to shut down while i can,; still loving it , but the days are long.

we've had some great customers, see the british family, (sorry i'm still terrible at recalling names),  my 'best customers ever', according to the son, :) lol. But seriously they were a lovely family and we had some great chats and i do hope that they will return to Chiang Mai in the future and that we will still be here to greet them.

had our first 'regular day off a couple of wednesdays ago and went and spent time at Huay Tung Thao; managed a bit of a swim before the heavens opened as we were about to leave. luckily the bamboo shelters are very water tight and i had a great sleep for about an hour, listening to the rain.

although we have had a couple of torrential downpours , rain this year still seems pretty scarce compared to last.

our new waiter , Gor, is doing very well, apart from being a little clumsy at times. we have told him that we will start making him pay for any more breakages, hopefully that will make him more careful:)

i've recently expanded our menu by adding Sheperds Pie and a very tasty Chicken and Mango curry.

had a group of 4 british guys in today who vowed to be back tomorrow.

so all continues to go well ..............:)
