long time no write,

well i've been pretty busy sorting life here for the long term.

so the latest is that we are now in business and have opened 'The Brick Road Cafe' in the centre of Chiang Mai Old Town.

Its a great spot on the main walking street to Wat Phra Singh, from Thapae gate.

we're still finding our feet but have got good responses from our customers,(yes we have had some), so far.

If you're in the are ,pop in and say hello and maybe stop for a burger or fish and chips, maybe followed by one of our delicious homemade waffles. If you're really hungry try our wonderfully filling macaroni or cauliflower cheese......the cheese sauce is our recipe to and its to die for i think;).

if you visit between 11 and 6pm we also have a very good thai menu ; and all this, farang food to is at very reasonable prices.

theres air con on request if u need a break from the heat and great sounds to boot.

we're a friendly relaxed team and would love you to join us.

 

Ok enough of the plugging.

seriously this is the realisation of a dream from my youth to have my own jazz cafe, i just never imagined it would be here, and am chuffed that it is.

 

Not sure how i'll deal with my itchy feet syndrome as its going to be full on with the business for a while but hopefully i'll build a team of staff that can run the place , should i want do shoot off on another trip...which i am sure to.

had a busy night last night, almost full and many came this morning for the breakfast menu.....we have full english , 3 breakfast sets, or a choose your own option.

oh no im plugging again....

oh and theres a guitar available if anyone feels like entertaining us:)

well...hoping for another busy night so gonna gwet on with posting the photos before boon starts shouting for me.:)
