well been quite a busy week so far. my travellers website is now delayed , probably until early next week, as i get my head around the design process...thanks for your help ian.

sunday brought an extra smile to my face when, for the first time in ages i caught my mum online and even better because she had her webcam working. it was really nice being able to caht and see her in real time, just hope she gets a microphone sorted for next time..typings just not your thing is it mum...lol.

not alot to report as both i and Boon have been busy, he in his shop and me with my writing and web stuff.

we had a bit of a firework display in the distance on sunday evening, not sure wat for but it was nice standing in the garden and watching it.

i spent the last two days sorting the first travel log page for the website  but after a crash course online with ian today, discovered that id done it all wrong and will now have to do it again, but hopefully if i get it write i hope to have enough on there to make it worth publishing online next monday or tuesday.

the worcester evening news turned up on monday, thanks mum, showing pictures of the snow they've had. now i've checked it out i'm probably going to give it to the nearby school if they would like it.

another quite full day.

was up at out by 8am, up to Doi Kam to meet Ally and have coffe and a chin wag whilst checking on the Temple dogs.

there were quite a few there, but Taylor was staying away becuase of bully boy Dam.

Ally told me that they have apparently had a bout of distemper at the shelter and lost quite a few puppies. although they thought that they had cleared it it now appears that Kam has come down with it...i just hope she recovers.

i didnt go back to the shelter this time as Ally had a busy schedule ahead of her.

i hung around for a while after she had gone and almost got to give Taylor his pilchards but Dam came along again and scared him off.

came back home just as Boon was leaving for work and got down to some more writing. concentrating on the 5 day motorcy trip we did last year.

at around 1pm i went into Wat Suan Dok to get a Thai massage to help my back. those girls are good and it definately helped, but its still quite sore so i'm going back for more tomorrow.

after going for some lunch, i came back for more writing.

another busy day:)

got some more writing done this morning. had another tidy up, i've decided this will be a daily event....'about time too' i hear my mum sigh..'its only taken nearly 44 years:)

more writing after boon went to work.

then it was off out on my trusty motorcy and cart to get more pots and soil for the garden and also pick up dog food.

had khow soy at my favourite cafe.

posted a letter to malcolm and sam and then came back home to pot more plants and water the garden before getting back to more website design.

i think i must have pulled something lifting the pots, soil or dogfood cos my backs aching quite badly. will have to go for a massage tomorrow.

off over to the shop now for dinner with the family.

maddening day yesterday when the broadband went down again just as i'm getting to crucial part of my website development. spent the whole day waiting on a technician who didnt come.

today went much better. The server phoned at 9 this morning to say that the technician would be here sometime today.

after Boon went off to work at 9 i chilled out and did some letter writing, look out you friends and family. being at the computer so much has inspired me to write photo letters that will soon start winging there way out there.

i also had a major tidy up in the living room and kitchen, cleaned out the fridge and everything, proper little housewife:)

the technician turned up at 12 and was done in 5 minutes.

i then went out on motorcy and cart. first to Doi Kam to give taylor more medicine...i missed the last two days.

he was no where to be found when i first got there but after calling his name he appeared out of the bushes after about 5 minutes.

him sorted , i headed off to the little garden centre down the road and bought 3 bags of garden compost, 5 broken hearted girls, two rose bushes, and two other plants i dont have a name for.

called in to see Boon after that, who was busy at work, playing Grand Theft Auto< lol.

came home and potted 3 out of the 6 broken hearted girls, i bought one on monday, and also planted the roses and the other two.

will go and get more pots tomorrow for the rest of the plants.

and thats been my day for today. just downloaded dreamweaver for doing my website and await a tutorial from my online advisor;)

nice day yesterday. did a little bit on my website work in the morning, then went to our favourite kho soi place before going to the park, which has started to get busy again , with the summer weather back again. people even taking their rabbits with them:)

also went up to Doi Kahm again and gave taylor more medicine.

just been doing more website work when the electricity went off, apparently last months bill wasnt paid.....woops...our tenant was meant to have paid it..will have words later. luckily i caught the electric guy and he re-connected on my promise to go pay today:)

well, at last i seem to be finding a routine and getting some stuff done.

Boons at work everyday with his business, which gives me time to work at home and i'm finally getting my other website sorted and hope to launch it next week.

i'm hoping to get some near full time hours in on it this week and get travel logs written up for all the trips we've done so far. also working on a guide to Chiang Mai.

if i can get what i want, done this week i will then reward myself with the next 'trip', but ive set myself alot to do so that trip may have to wait another week.

the weather is hotting up again now. my asian flu has cleared, all bar a tickly cough still.

also hope to keep this site up to date more regularly to for any friends and family who want to keep up with what i'm doing.

thankfully its not all work... i'm determined to keep a balance on work and enjoyment of life here.

had a good day yesterday, did my website work in the morning and then, answering a call from Boon, went up to meet him and his brother and family up at the waterfall up the road to Doi Suthep.

we picnic-d there for quite a while. kim loved the water, splashing about and kicking water all over the picnic. they had all been to Chiangmai Zoo in the morning. Boon had asked me to go but i was busy and besides which, i dont much like zoos, seeing animals in cages upsets me.

from there we came home and then Boon and i went up to Doi Kahm for the first time in ages. i had emailed Ally and she told me that Taylor had bad mange and that she was unable to approach him to give him any help.

i took ivomec with some tinned fish and one of our dog bowls to see if i could do anything.

things have quietened down there since the Royal Flora expo has finished. most of the dogs were chilling under one of the bamboo shelters left over from the Expo days and i was glad to see Taylor there, although not so happy to see the state of him. good thing was that he obviously remembered me and responded positively when i called his name and it was no great problem to give him the medicine and i will go back up there sometime today to give him more.

then had a nice night in watching ,first Nacho libre and then Saw.

its been a while since ive brought this up to date, partly due to internet connection problems and partly to to with being very busy.

since thaton we've been busy looking to sort a business, and first off has come Boons family aluminium business.

i'm still looking, things are tricky at the moment with so many rules and rule changes, i'm being careful not to make major mistakes.

for anyone whoes checked my other website out, sorry its still not up and running. that has alot to do with the fact that just two weeks after getting broadband they had to make major repairs with the local servers and im still not able to hook up. but i also took some advice and am doing much more work on it before setting it online properly so hopefully it will be much more interesting and useful when it comes. i will be ready by the end of this week, just hope the broadband is back on then.

we've just had this years flower festival which was everybit as breathtaking as last year.

dont know whats with the weather tho, its definately much much cooler than this time last year.
